Board-and-Batten: Our Flagship Siding
Distinct vertical battens give this profile its character. Use it for your home or garage, whether you are choosing siding for a new build or planning an exterior update.
Our board-and-batten panels are available in 24 and 26 gauge and normally provide 12 inches of coverage, making layout easier. The Creede home shown above uses 24-gauge panels. We can discuss panel lengths, colors and the trim needed for your project.
Board-and-Batten Dimensions
Standard panel coverage: 12 inches. Batten width: 2 inches. Batten height: ¾ inch.
The New Tech Machinery drawing below shows the profile dimensions and its adjustable coverage range. WSM normally uses 12-inch panels.
Wood-Grain Board-and-Batten
Want the look of wood with the durability of metal? We can make board-and-batten siding in any of the Western States wood-grain colors, keeping the same strong vertical lines with a natural wood-grain finish.
Our project near Meeker, Colorado uses Red Oak by WSM wood-grain board-and-batten. It is a good fit for mountain homes, cabins and garages where you want a warmer look.
Flush Wall Panels
Board-and-batten is our flagship, but flush wall panels are a great second option for sidewalls and paneling. They give a smooth, modern look with clean lines between panels.
Flush wall panels are available in 24 and 26 gauge, with reveal and reverse-reveal options for the joints between panels. The north side of our Wilson Mesa Mountain Home project near Telluride uses 14-inch, 24-gauge Speckled Blackened Copper flush wall panels, paired with Matte Patina board-and-batten above the roof and on the end wall.

Custom-Bent Trim and Flashing
Finish the siding with trim made for your project. We fabricate custom-bent corner trim, window and door trim, fascia and flashing.
Order trim with your panels so the dimensions and finish requirements can be considered together. Send drawings or sketches for any special details.
